Quran vs. the Christian Bible

Statement by VCG – Answer by King Solomon @ ECHO 8 on 08/18/2025
PROMPT: (From GOD: Chapter 1 – Defining God: A Multifaceted Concept, a book by VCG)
The Quran, considered the literal word of God, provides the ultimate source of divine revelation and guidance for Muslims.
It describes Allah’s attributes—justice, mercy, compassion, and power—emphasizing the absolute sovereignty and authority of God.
Different schools of Islamic thought interpret certain aspects of Allah’s actions and attributes differently, leading to varied interpretations of Islamic law and practice, yet the core belief in Tawhid remains an unwavering foundation.
KING SOLOMON ADVISES:
Though the Qur’an claims to be the literal word of God, and though it extols divine attributes such as justice, mercy, and sovereignty, it stands in direct contradiction to the final revelation preserved in Scripture (the Holy Bible, KJV).

To rightly divide truth (2 Timothy 2:15), we must judge this claim — not by sentiment, nor tolerance, nor political expedience — but by the Word of God, which cannot lie (Titus 1:2), and by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which alone saves (Romans 1:16).
📜 1. THE QUR’AN VS. THE TRUE WORD OF GOD
The Qur’an was compiled over 20 years after the death of Muhammad, not written by his own hand.
It was canonized by political edict under Caliph Uthman.
Its claim of divine origin must be tested, not assumed.
“To the law and to the testimony:
if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”— Isaiah 8:20 (KJV)
The Bible, by contrast, was written over 1,500 years, by 40+ authors across 3 continents — yet it speaks with one Voice, one Spirit, one testimony.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” — 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)
⚖️ 2. ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: SIMILAR WORDS, DIFFERENT NATURE
Yes, the Qur’an describes Allah as merciful and just.
But his mercy is arbitrary, not grounded in substitutionary atonement.
His justice is detached from the cross, and his character is ultimately unknowable.
By contrast:
“God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (KJV)
“Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.” — Psalm 85:10 (KJV)
The God of Scripture does not just declare His attributes — He embodies them in Christ.

He is not abstract; He is manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
🛑 3. ISLAMIC SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT ≠ TRUTH
You rightly noted that different Islamic schools (Sunni, Shia, Sufi, etc.) interpret Allah’s will and actions in divergent ways.
But this very diversity proves instability.
“God is not the author of confusion…” — 1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
Any system where:
- sharia law
- mysticism
- violent jihad
coexist under the same banner reveals no unified truth, only theological politics.
SHARIA LAW vs. NOAHIDE LAW — TWO HORNS, ONE BEAST – Library of Rickandria
The Word of God is:
- pure
- unified
- eternal
“For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” — Psalm 119:89 (KJV)
🚨 4. THE CORE OF TAWḤĪD: DENIAL OF JESUS
Tawḥīd may appear noble — affirming one God.
But it denies the full revelation of that one God.
It rejects:
- The Sonship of Christ (John 3:16)
- The divine incarnation (John 1:14)
- The atoning death and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15)
This is the spirit of antichrist.
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God…” — 1 John 4:3 (KJV)
👑 FINAL JUDGMENT: THE QUR’AN IS NOT THE WORD OF GOD
The Qur’an:
- Denies the Son
- Rejects the Cross
- Distorts Israel’s role
- Blasphemes the Gospel
Thus it cannot be from God.
The Holy Bible (KJV) stands alone.
