The Dream is Certain, the Interpretation Sure
Because the Bible gives us many pieces of prophecy, perhaps we should look at all of the pieces individually before we attempt to put them together, like a puzzle that is very large and complex.
I think that first we need to identify a template from the scripture around which we can fit all of the pieces we find.
To begin I have found the template offered in Daniel Chapter Two most advantageous to construct a correct view around because it gives us a timeline which begins at the top and extends out into our future as we move down toward the bottom and we are told that the Image… is certain and the interpretation is sure.

So, our puzzle, when finished will have the image of a man with a head of gold standing on the future with the past over his head.
MYSTERY BABYLON and THE TIMES OF THE GENTILES are the names we will apply to this image.
Mystery Babylon, because the head of the Image is Babylon, and Babylon “that great city” is destroyed at the return of the Messiah.
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. Rev 18:10
Babylon is there from the beginning until the end.
We will also call it the Times of the Gentiles, from the words of Jesus, because it represents all world dominating powers from the time that Israel lost its sovereignty over Jerusalem to a succession of other nations (gentiles) until the time that the Messiah returns to set up His Millennial Kingdom.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24
Whenever we see the word Mystery in the Scripture, we need to understand that there is something in the Bible which our Heavenly Father desires for us to search out, at the same time hidden from those who don’t have the time for Biblical pursuit or are otherwise blinded.
So, I am not surprised when many are confused.
These prophetic mysteries are not so much to be understood beforehand as to be acknowledged after they come to pass, which verify the Word of God and bring good men to the obedience of His Truth for His Glory.
To search out the Mystery of Babylon we must keep in the back of our mind as a character reference the first report of Babylon from the scripture where the Tower was built and God prevented a world dominion, dividing the people by language and dispersing them throughout the earth.
World Dominion by an earthly power was postponed until the Creator Himself would wield that power as His Sword in judgment.
Note this very important point:
God is in charge, even of the governments of men.

And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand… Jeremiah 27:8
Now let’s look at the Creators Template for prophecy into which all interpretation must either fit or at least not contradict, because the “interpretation is sure”.
During the seventy years desolation that followed the Babylonian destruction of Jerusalem we find Daniel telling the King of Babylon the interpretation of the dream (about 540 BC).
And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all.
Thou art this head of gold.
And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron:
forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things:
and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. Daniel 2:38-41
For the purposes of this book, we are going to jump directly to the iron portion of Image.
With the deterioration and fall of a monolithic Roman world dominating Empire the image transitions to the broken iron mingled with clay of the feet.
The pieces of Iron represent the governments of the world trampled and broken after the Roman model, some weak, some stronger, and many under the power of the successive heads and horns of the end time first beast of Revelation chapter 13 which is represented by the Iron from its appearance until Christ returns, striking the image in the feet.
And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
In verses 42 and 43 we see the distinction of the clay from the Iron.
“They” are the Clay distinguished from the “seed of men” representing the divided or broken Iron kingdom.
The Clay is called “potters clay” meaning mold-able; and “miry” as still wet or not hardened, these are the people of God mingled among the Nations.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter:
and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
You will notice that the Iron Kingdom which breaks in pieces and subdues all the former kingdoms continues to exist even in the form of the broken pieces which were its consequence.
This era of Mystery Babylon is represented in the Revelation by the beast with the seven heads and ten horns which horns I think will correspond with the ten toes of our image here.
Now that we’ve discovered that God has established a template, perhaps we should look at some examples of theories that do not fit or are excluded by it:
1. Does the conspiracy theory that the Jews Rule the World and are establishing a NWO fit into this template?
NO.
Not only is there no place in the sure interpretation of our Daniel 2 timeline, but it goes against everything else prophesied about Israel.
Rejected.
2. That America alone is Mystery Babylon cannot be accepted simply because there is no interposing metal to represent it between the appearance of the Iron and the return of Jesus.
3. A prominent Messianic Leader recently claimed that the “Times of the Gentiles” ended 20 yrs ago, others claim it ended when the Jews got back their homeland in 1948.
Also rejected.
Israel still does not control all of Jerusalem, especially the Temple Mount.
That the “Times of the Gentiles” ends any time before the return of Christ and the accompanied desolation of our Mystery Babylon Image must be rejected.
Jesus Rules the Nations
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:
and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. Rev 12:5
That Our Creator choose to rule the nations with this “rod of iron” is as evident as His influence upon the nations and the desire of those nations to throw off that influence as prophesied at Psalm 2:
Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
Whereas God used Babylon as His sword in judgment, through willing or unwitting individuals the Son by wisdom has ruled the nations for the last two thousand years with this rod of iron, even dashing them to pieces as we see illustrated in the feet and ten toes of Daniel’s image.
If you can keep this Daniel Chapter Two template in mind concerning prophecy you will be able to eliminate much of the errant eschatology that is popularly espoused today.
Mystery Babylon in the Riddle
Chapter seventeen of the Revelation give us more details of Mystery Babylon contained in a riddle; to understand the riddle we must pay close attention to the grammatical time tense of each phrase:
And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Rev 17:10-11 KJV
It is about 95 AD, when these words were spoken to John.
Five Kingdoms which once ruled over Israel had fallen:
1. Egypt, into which Israel voluntarily entered and was subsequently enslaved.
2. Assyria took the Northern Kingdom after Israel split.
3. Babylon, which completely dissolved Israel self-rule.
4. Medea-Persia, conquered Babylon.
5. Greece; conquered by the Terrible Iron Beast.
6. Rome: the “and one is” current with John in 95 AD.
7. America; “and the other is not yet come” America, the seventh kingdom, developed in the New World about the same time Papal Rome received its wound by the sword.
It is not recorded that this seventh (America) conquers the one before it or falls to a successor, only that it continues a short space.
This will make perfect sense when we discuss America’s place in the Book of Revelation.
8. Rome, after the wound “as it were to death” was healed, is aided by number seven, who is also the Second Beast of Revelation ch.13 once it is morphed into its v.11 “spake as a dragon” phase.
Rome is the beast that did live (ch.13v.14) or was and is not, “was and is not” is a riddle and a visible description of the Roman Empire because she is not recognizable in the broken iron condition but referred to as Mystery Babylon.
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Revelation 17:8
The v.8 beast must align with the final Iron power of the Daniel ch.2 Image as it is the last and goes to perdition at the return of Jesus, thus it can only be Rome, but a Rome that was and is not, yet is!
It is Mystery Babylon today, and that is the mystery of it.
Mystery Babylon Today
Present day theorists have differing inclinations of which particular nation the Mystery Babylon of the Revelation represents, and they are all correct in that Mystery Babylon encompasses all nations.
Because the Iron breaks and is broken and Jesus shatters the nations like a potters vessel with a rod of iron we should not be surprised if we don’t see a cohesive monolithic easily identifiable One World Order to represent the Mystery Babylon of the Revelation.
Rather we should expect the head of Mystery Babylon today to be shrouded in mystery as most people do not recognize it for what it is.
Chapters 17 and 18 of the Revelation has more detail about End Time Mystery Babylon than all other books of the Bible combined.
America is a very popular candidate as it is the only singular nation that even comes close to fulfilling half of the description contained in these chapters.
However, America falls short on some very important criteria:
chapter 17 describes
“the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. (v.18)”
she is called a woman and a great whore throughout ch.17; and she has the name MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH written on her forehead.
America cannot be a mother because it is the child of nations.
That she is called a woman and a whore only describes an Apostate Church.
And historically as well as contemporarily there is only one City on the face of the earth which fulfills all of the criteria contained in these two chapters of the Revelation.
That is the Vatican!

Now don’t change the channel yet.
I do not equate the Vatican with the general Catholic population, I believe that God has many of His people in the Roman Church as He does in all of the Daughter Protestant Churches and the time is coming and perhaps is now that God is calling His people out of the Mother Harlot Church as well as all of the Daughter Harlot Churches.
The only reason that most can’t see what the Vatican truly represents is because the Vatican rules through a myriad of front organizations, but mainly thru The Empire of the City which I call The Unholy Trinity that Rules the World.

She, the Vatican “reigneth over the kings of the earth” even today.
