My name is John, and I am here today to share the truth behind the book I wrote, the Book of Revelation.
John of Patmos (also called John the Revelator, John the Divine, John the Theologian; Ancient Greek: Ἰωάννης ὁ Θεολόγος, romanized: Iōannēs ho Theologos) is the name traditionally given to the author of the Book of Revelation. Revelation 1:9 states that John was on Patmos, an Aegean island off the coast of Roman Asia, where according to most biblical historians, he was exiled as a result of anti-Christian persecution under the Roman emperor Domitian.
Many have distorted and misunderstood this important text.
Revelation is a book about the second coming of Christ.
It describes what will happen before, during, and after this event.
If you think that Revelation is a book of destruction, of evil, or of Satan, you are completely mistaken.
