OUR FATHER opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. This is a spiritual law at work. Pride pushes OUR FATHER away; humility draws Him close. When we’re humble, we’re saying FATHER, I need you. Humility protects us from Satan’s (a title meaning adversary, not a name) favorite trap, our thinking that we can handle things on our own. When we’re proud, we let our guard down. We think that we have it all figured out. But Humility keeps us alert & looking up to OUR FATHER for guidance & strength.

Many people misunderstand this point. Humility isn’t about thinking LESS of yourself. It’s about thinking of yourself LESS. It’s recognizing that OUR FATHER is the SUPREME CREATOR of the UNIVERSE & we’re not. Maybe Lucifer should have figured that out when he had a chance when he was besties with OUR FATHER?

This mindset changes how we approach spiritual warfare. Picture humility like a suit of armor. When we put it on, we’re protected from pride’s dangers. Humility also allows OUR FATHER’S power to flow through us with the Holy Ghost, when we’re not full of ourselves. There’s then room for OUR FATHER & the Holy Ghost to work. We become channels for His strength & wisdom.

Think about the battles that you’re facing right now. Are you trying to fight them alone? Or are you humbly relying on OUR FATHER? Your answer might be the key to the victory that you have been searching for. This principle of humility applies to all spiritual battles, BIG & SMALL – & the one coming.

Whether you’re:

• resisting temptation
• fighting fear
• standing against injustice

humility is your secret weapon; it keeps you connected to OUR FATHER.

The next total lunar eclipse or blood moon will occur on Sept. 7-8, 2025.

However, this event will be visible primarily from parts of:

• Asia
• Australia
• the Pacific

with totality — when the lunar surface turns completely red — lasting 82 minutes.

Total lunar eclipses are global events happening simultaneously, but only the night side of Earth can witness them. During all stages of the eclipse on Sept. 7-8, 2025, the Americas will be on the dayside of Earth.

No part of the eclipse will be seen from North or South America.

The entire eclipse, including the penumbral and partial phases (as the full moon moves through Earth’s fuzzy outer shadow, the penumbra, and into its dark umbra), will last five hours and 27 minutes. About 4.9 billion people will see the entire eclipse in September from beginning to end, according to Timeanddate.com, with 7.1 billion — about 87% of the world’s population — seeing some of the initial phases of the eclipse. The total lunar eclipse on Sept. 7-8 will be followed by a partial solar eclipse on Sept. 21st.
