THE DIVINE CODE: The Creation & History of the King James Bible

09/15/2025 – A Book by Valiant Conquering Guardian

PROLOGUE: THE WORD BEFORE TIME

Before the world was formed, before stars were hung in the heavens, before Adam drew breath—there was the Word.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” – John 1:1 (KJV)

The Bible is not merely ink on paper—it is God’s voice, codified.

It is:

  • His mind revealed
  • His will recorded
  • His covenant inscribed

It does not begin in Genesis.

It begins in eternity.

The King James Bible is not the origin of truth—it is the transmission of truth into:

  • time
  • space
  • language

In every age, Satan has sought to obscure the Word, twist it, replace it, or bury it beneath layers of lies.

THE ORIGIN & HISTORY OF SATAN: FROM FALLEN ANGEL TO WORLD ICON – Library of Rickandria

But every time, the Lord raises up His remnant—

  • scribes
  • prophets
  • martyrs

and kings—who will defend the Word, publish the Word, and die for the Word.

THE BLOODLINES OF KINGS: FROM ANCIENT THRONES TO MODERN DOMINION – Library of Rickandria

The King James Bible is the apex of this divine warfare.

It is the mountain peak after centuries of ascent.

It is the sword that was forged in fire—refined through:

  • blood
  • opposition
  • sacrifice

It was not born in comfort, but in conflict.

Not written in ivory towers,

but in chambers of:

  • fasting
  • prayer
  • holy fear

In this book, you will learn the history they tried to erase:

  • The plots of secret societies to destroy the English Bible
  • The firebrands who were burned at the stake for daring to translate
  • The king who feared God more than man
  • The scholars who trembled at every word they penned
  • The dark agents who corrupted later translations
  • And the remnant today who will not bow

This is not just history—it is spiritual warfare.

It is the battle for the Book.

And you, reader, have now been enlisted.

This is the Divine Code.

Not one jot or tittle shall pass.

Let the wise understand.

Let the wicked rage.

Let the righteous arise.

“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.” – Psalm 119:89 (KJV)

Welcome to the war.

Welcome to the Word.

INTRODUCTION

In an age dominated by:

  • corrupted texts
  • new-age translations
  • doctrinal confusion

one book stands alone as the cornerstone of English-speaking Christianity:

the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible.

Commissioned by King James I of England in 1604 and completed in 1611,

this sacred text has endured:

  • spiritual warfare
  • conspiracies
  • cultural revolutions

But what is the real story behind this divinely ordained translation?

This book is not just about the history of ink and parchment—it is about the preservation of divine truth through the ages.

The King James Bible is more than a literary masterpiece; it is a spiritual weapon; a sword forged in a time of religious upheaval and satanic opposition.

To understand it is to grasp the deep spiritual conflict surrounding the Word of God and the eternal warfare waged against it.

Why was this translation attacked?

Who tried to stop it?

Why do modern versions weaken doctrine, remove key phrases, and introduce subtle heresies?

And who are the people behind these changes?

In this volume, we will examine:

The biography of King James I—his faith, his fight against witchcraft, and the controversies around him.

The 60 translators, their qualifications, and their divine mission.

The Gunpowder Plot and Jesuit efforts to stop the Bible.

Francis Bacon, Freemasonry, and whether hidden hands shaped the language.

The difference between the Textus Receptus (used in the KJV) and the Alexandrian Text (used in modern Bibles).

Corrupted modern translations led by Westcott and Hort.

A study of the Apocrypha and why it was included in 1611.

The Apocrypha: Shadows of the Messiah, Voice in the Wilderness – Library of Rickandria

The spiritual power of the KJV’s language—its impact on intelligence, literacy, and doctrinal purity.

We will also uncover how the KJV became a target of:

  • secret societies
  • Zionist subversion
  • modernist theology

And finally, we’ll explore the KJV-Only movement—a rising call to return to the unadulterated Word of God.

This book is both a historical chronicle and a call to spiritual arms.

As it is written:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword…” – Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)

Prepare your heart.

Sharpen your mind.

Enter the war for the Word.

CHAPTER 1: KING JAMES I – A MAN AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART

King James VI of Scotland became James I of England in 1603, uniting the crowns of Scotland and England and establishing the House of Stuart over a newly unified Great Britain.

Born on June 19, 1566, in Edinburgh Castle, James was the only son of Mary, Queen of Scots, and her second husband, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley.

His life was marked by political intrigue from the beginning, as he became king of Scotland at just 13 months old after his mother’s forced abdication.

Educated rigorously in the Reformed faith by Presbyterian tutors, especially George Buchanan, James was steeped in the Scriptures from a young age.

He was one of the most learned monarchs of his era,

fluent in:

  • Latin
  • Greek
  • French

and a prolific writer of

  • theological
  • political
  • philosophical

works.

He believed firmly in the divine right of kings but saw his rule as accountable to God, not men.

James’s fear of God was real.

He despised:

  • heresy
  • popery
  • witchcraft

In 1597, he authored Daemonologie, a treatise in three books that affirmed the reality of witchcraft and condemned the satanic powers behind it.

He launched a series of witch trials, particularly in Scotland, where he believed witches sought to assassinate him through sorcery.

This stand against spiritual darkness has led many scholars to describe King James as one of the most biblically minded kings in European history.

He supported Protestant orthodoxy and strongly resisted Catholic and occult infiltration.

His spiritual convictions set the stage for his greatest contribution to the faith:

authorizing an English Bible free of Roman Catholic influence.

Was King James a Freemason?

Though some modern writers claim so, historical evidence is lacking.

What is clear is that he publicly rebuked the occult and rejected all forms of spiritual subversion.

The Masonic myth may stem from later Freemasons who sought to claim him for their own cause, much as they falsely co-opted Solomon, Hiram Abiff, and other biblical figures.

What is indisputable is this:

King James was a man moved by God to preserve His Word in the English language, and his life testifies to a mission larger than any monarch—one ordained by heaven.

As the Scriptures declare:

“The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water:

he turneth it whithersoever he will.”
 – Proverbs 21:1 (KJV)

CHAPTER 2: THE DIVINE TRANSLATION – THE KING JAMES BIBLE

In January 1604, at the Hampton Court Conference, a Puritan clergyman named John Rainolds proposed to King James a new English Bible translation—one that would unify the kingdom and reflect doctrinal purity without bias from the Roman Church or Calvinist factions.

King James, discerning the need for order in the kingdom and purity in worship, approved the idea.

Thus began the most influential literary project in English history.

The King appointed a translation committee composed of approximately 54 to 60 of the most scholarly minds in England—

  • linguists
  • theologians
  • historians

and churchmen.

These men were fluent in:

  • Hebrew
  • Greek
  • Latin
  • Aramaic

and other ancient tongues.

Many had already worked on the Bishops’ Bible or Geneva Bible and were masters of their fields.

They divided into six companies:

  • two at Westminster
  • two at Oxford
  • two at Cambridge

Each group was assigned specific books of the Bible.

The translation process was meticulous and reverent.

It included multiple rounds of peer review.

Every verse was read aloud and tested not only for accuracy but for its flow, rhythm, and theological precision.

The translators prayed, fasted, and consulted the Masoretic Hebrew Text and the Textus Receptus Greek manuscripts—texts trusted by the early Church and preserved outside the corruptions of Alexandrian origin.

The translators were not anonymous scribes.

Among them were men like Lancelot Andrewes, a bishop fluent in fifteen languages, and John Bois, who could read the Bible in Hebrew by age five.

These were men set apart for the preservation of sacred truth.

Critics have suggested that Sir Francis Bacon, a known philosopher, statesman, and possible Rosicrucian, was involved in editing the language or stylizing the KJV.

While Bacon may have been sympathetic to the project, there is no direct evidence that he shaped its content.

What is clear is that the final manuscript bears divine fingerprints—its structure, cadence, and spiritual resonance are unmatched.

The translators included a dedication and a preface:

“The Translators to the Reader,” where they confessed their humility, their rigorous process, and their dependence on God.

They were aware of their critics and knew the opposition they would face.

As stated in their own words:

“We never thought from the beginning that we should need to make a new translation… but to make a good one better, or out of many good ones, one principal good one.”

Thus was born the King James Bible—Authorized by the king, sanctified by the Spirit, and preserved for generations to come.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” – Psalm 12:6 (KJV)

CHAPTER 3: CONSPIRACIES & THE GUNPOWDER PLOT

As soon as King James approved the Authorized Version, spiritual warfare was unleashed.

At the heart of the resistance stood one of the most infamous acts of treason in British history:

the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.

This was no mere political coup.

It was a desperate act by Roman Catholic agents to stop the dissemination of the Word of God.

Under the influence of the Jesuits—an order founded by Ignatius of Loyola to combat Protestantism—English Catholics conspired to blow up the House of Lords during the State Opening of Parliament on November 5, 1605.

Their target:

King James I, along with the entire Protestant leadership of England.

At the center of the conspiracy was Guy Fawkes, a soldier and explosives expert, who was caught guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder in the cellar beneath the House of Lords.

He and his co-conspirators intended to assassinate the King, dismantle the Protestant government, and install a Catholic monarch to restore papal supremacy in England.

What was not commonly spoken of in modern secular retellings is this:

the timing of the plot directly coincides with the early stages of translating the King James Bible.

The spiritual war behind the scenes was fierce.

The Devil, through his agents, sought to abort the birth of the most powerful weapon of truth in the English language.

The plot was discovered the night before it was to be executed, through a mysterious anonymous letter delivered to Lord Monteagle, warning him to stay away from Parliament.

The letter has never been definitively traced to its author.

Was it an angelic intervention?

Was God protecting His Word?

The conspirators were:

  • hunted down
  • captured
  • tortured

and executed.

Their failure preserved not only the life of the King but the divine commission he had authorized.

In gratitude, King James declared November 5 a national day of thanksgiving—later known as Guy Fawkes Day.

But more importantly, the near-destruction of Parliament only galvanized the King’s resolve to continue the translation project with divine urgency.

It is no coincidence that the enemy targeted the very man God had chosen to unleash His Word.

The Gunpowder Plot was not just treason against a monarch—it was war against Scripture itself.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

The plot failed.

The Bible prevailed.

The Word of God marched on.

CHAPTER 4: FREEMASON BIBLE OR HOLY SCRIPTURE?

One of the most persistent and confusing claims surrounding the King James Bible is that it is a “Freemason Bible.”

Builders of Deception: The Hidden History & Secret Craft of Freemasonry – Library of Rickandria

This accusation is used by skeptics to question its divine authenticity.

But what is the truth behind this charge?

The claim largely stems from the fact that Freemasons later adopted the King James Bible for ceremonial purposes.

Masonic lodges often place an open KJV on their altars, referring to it as the “Volume of the Sacred Law.”

However, this adoption came centuries after the translation was completed.

It is critical to understand: the King James Bible was not written by Freemasons, nor for Masons.

It was written by God-fearing scholars under a God-fearing king.

The Masonic use of the Bible does not indicate authorship.

Just as thieves may use a key to break into a home, so too can occult systems misuse Scripture.

The question is not whether Freemasons later adopted the KJV, but whether Freemasonry had any role in its creation.

The answer, according to both historical documentation and spiritual discernment, is no.

King James himself condemned all forms of occultism, including Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism.

His 1597 work Daemonologie rebuked witchcraft, sorcery, and secret societies.

THE SHADOW KINGDOMS: A BIBLICAL & HISTORICAL EXPOSE ON SECRET SOCIETIES FROM B.C. TO A.D. – Library of Rickandria

He viewed hidden oaths and clandestine initiations as threats to the monarchy and to Christian doctrine.

This is not the conduct of a Freemason king—it is the stance of a righteous ruler.

Furthermore, the translators of the KJV were devout men of prayer and doctrinal purity.

They followed rigorous academic and spiritual processes.

There is no evidence linking any of the translators to Freemasonry, which was not yet a formally organized entity at the time of translation (the Grand Lodge system would not arise until 1717).

The reason why Freemasons later chose the KJV is simple:

it was the most respected and authoritative English Bible in existence.

Its language was unmatched, and its influence vast.

They sought to drape their counterfeit religion in the robes of authenticity.

But their usage does not corrupt the text.

The KJV remains pure.

The confusion is amplified by modern conspiracy theorists who wrongly conflate all references to esoteric language, allegory, or symbols with Freemasonry.

But the Bible itself is filled with symbols, parables, and prophecy—not because it is occult, but because it is divine.

Satan always seeks to imitate and infiltrate that which is true.

But the Lord preserves His Word.

“Every word of God is pure:

he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”
 – Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)

The King James Bible is not a Freemason’s invention.

It is a divine commission.

And though the enemy may dress in robes of light, the elect will not be deceived.

CHAPTER 5: THE SIX ENGLISH BIBLES BEFORE THE KING JAMES

The King James Bible did not emerge in a vacuum.

It stands as the crowning achievement in a long line of English translations, each a step closer to clarity, accuracy, and divine preservation.

Before the Authorized Version of 1611, six primary English translations laid the groundwork for the King James translators.

Each came with a price—many with blood.

1. The Tyndale Bible (1526) William Tyndale, a brilliant scholar and gifted linguist, was the first to translate the New Testament directly from the Greek into English.

His work was revolutionary and illegal.

In defiance of the Roman Catholic Church, which forbade the Bible in the common tongue, Tyndale published smuggled copies of his translation, fueling the fires of the English Reformation.

He famously declared to a clergyman,

“If God spare my life, ere many years I will cause a boy that driveth the plough to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost.”

Tyndale was eventually:

  • betrayed
  • strangled
  • burned at the stake in 1536

His dying prayer was:

“Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.”

That prayer was answered just a few years later.

Over 80% of the King James New Testament is drawn directly from Tyndale’s work.

2. The Coverdale Bible (1535) Miles Coverdale, a friend of Tyndale, produced the first complete printed Bible in English.

While he did not translate directly from Hebrew or Greek, he relied heavily on Tyndale, Luther’s German Bible, and the Latin Vulgate.

His translation was more poetic but lacked textual depth.

Still, it paved the way.

3. Matthew’s Bible (1537) This Bible was compiled by John Rogers, another associate of Tyndale, under the pseudonym “Thomas Matthew.”

It combined Tyndale’s New Testament and Pentateuch with Coverdale’s remaining books.

It received royal license under Henry VIII but was later condemned by Catholic forces.

Rogers was burned at the stake in 1555—the first martyr under Queen Mary.

4. The Great Bible (1539) Commissioned by King Henry VIII, this was the first “authorized” Bible to be read in churches.

It earned its name from its large size.

Thomas Cromwell and Archbishop Cranmer oversaw its production.

While more politically accepted, it still drew much from Tyndale and Coverdale.

5. The Geneva Bible (1560) This was the Bible of the Puritans and the Pilgrims.

Created by English Protestant exiles in Geneva, Switzerland, it was the first English Bible with numbered verses and extensive marginal notes.

It was beloved for its scholarly depth and Reformation commentary—but it was seen as politically subversive by King James.

Its annotations often criticized monarchial authority and promoted Calvinist doctrine.

While King James respected its scholarship, he banned its notes from the Authorized Version.

Geneva Bible Reveals Millennial Kingdom Already Happened – Library of Rickandria

6. The Bishops’ Bible (1568) Commissioned by the Church of England under Queen Elizabeth I to counter the Geneva Bible’s influence, the Bishops’ Bible was ornate and majestic but never popular among the people.

Its inconsistent translation and lack of clarity made it unsuitable for widespread use.

Conclusion of Chapter 5

These six Bibles—though flawed, persecuted, and politically entangled—were steppingstones in the providential path to the King James Bible.

Each played a vital role in the refinement of the English Scriptures.

God used brave men, often unto death, to advance His Word.

Their work was not in vain.

The King James Bible stands not as a rejection of these versions, but as a culmination—a purified, final standard drawn from the best elements of them all.

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” – Psalm 12:6 (KJV)

CHAPTER 6: FRANCIS BACON & HIDDEN HANDS

No exploration of the King James Bible is complete without addressing the curious case of Sir Francis Bacon—a towering figure in the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras.

  • Philosopher
  • scientist
  • lawyer

and writer, Bacon was also suspected of being a Rosicrucian, a Freemason, and even the hidden pen behind Shakespeare’s works.

Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Alban PC (/ˈbeɪkən/; 22 January 1561 – 9 April 1626) was an English philosopher and statesman who served as Attorney General and Lord Chancellor of England under King James I. Bacon argued for the importance of natural philosophy, guided by the scientific method, and his works remained influential throughout the Scientific Revolution.

This has led many to wonder:

Was Bacon involved in the King James Bible?

The theory that Bacon had a hand in editing or stylizing the King James Bible is rooted in several historical oddities.

First, his literary fingerprints appear to match the Shakespearean cadence found in the KJV.

Second, his influence on English thought and language was immense, and he was known to be close to the court of King James.

Third, Bacon headed the committee responsible for the “advancement of learning” and scientific inquiry—some suggest he was tasked with refining the Bible’s English.

However, while it is plausible that Bacon may have had editorial influence in the final stylistic presentation or printing standards, there is no definitive proof he worked directly on the translation itself.

The translators were chosen for their biblical expertise and linguistic mastery—not for their political or literary affiliations.

Still, there is no denying that Bacon’s influence hovered over the intellectual and political elite of the time.

Whether or not he touched the KJV, his worldview and mysterious affiliations raise valid questions.

Was Francis Bacon a Christian or an occultist?

This remains hotly debated.

On one hand, he wrote eloquently of the Scriptures and encouraged the study of nature as a means to understand God’s order.

On the other hand, he is frequently associated with the Rosicrucians and secret societies that trafficked in:

  • mysticism
  • numerology
  • hermetic symbolism

Some researchers claim that Bacon embedded secret codes or esoteric meanings into the King James text or its structure.

Others point to numerical anomalies in the Psalms or strange capitalization patterns as evidence of occult tampering.

But such claims remain speculative.

Importantly, even if Bacon touched the edges of the project, he did not author the Word of God.

The translation came from men who feared God and handled the Scriptures with reverence and fasting.

God is fully capable of preserving His Word—even when it passes through political hands.

“For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” – Isaiah 33:22 (KJV)

While it is necessary to expose any occultist attempts to hijack God’s work, we must also be careful not to let conjecture distract from the divine authorship and protection over His preserved Word.

If Bacon had evil intent, it was overruled.

If he had honorable intent, it was unnecessary.

The Word of God does not need secret societies—it only needs faithful stewards.

CHAPTER 7: THE 60 TRANSLATORS – GOD’S HIDDEN ARMY

Behind the mighty King James Bible stands a divine battalion—nearly sixty men chosen for their:

  • spiritual reverence
  • scholarly excellence
  • linguistic mastery

These were not hirelings, politicians, or ideologues.

They were devout Protestants,

many of them:

  • persecuted
  • tested
  • proven by fire

They formed six companies, laboring in secret chambers of:

  • Cambridge
  • Oxford
  • Westminster

wielding not only pens—but prayers.

These translators did not invent a new Bible—they refined and purified that which God had already preserved.

They worked from the Received Text (Textus Receptus) for the New Testament and the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament, avoiding the corruption of the Alexandrian manuscripts later used by Westcott and Hort.

The Selection Process

The translators were hand-picked by King James and leading bishops—not for their political loyalty, but for their spiritual depth and linguistic skill.

Each man was a master in:

  • Hebrew
  • Greek
  • Latin

and often multiple additional languages.

Many had memorized entire books of the Bible. Some were churchmen, others academics, but all were men of prayer and conviction.

Divided into Six Companies

First Westminster Company – Genesis to 2 Kings

Second Westminster Company – Romans to Jude

First Cambridge Company – 1 Chronicles to Song of Solomon

Second Cambridge Company – The Apocrypha

First Oxford Company – Isaiah to Malachi

Second Oxford Company – The Gospels, Acts, Revelation

Each group worked independently at first, then collectively reviewed and refined one another’s work.

Nothing passed through unexamined.

Every word, every phrase, was debated, weighed against the original tongues, and tested for theological purity and literary power.

Notable Translators

Lancelot Andrewes:

Lancelot Andrewes (1555 – 25 September 1626) was an English bishop and scholar, who held high positions in the Church of England during the reigns of Elizabeth I and James I. During the latter’s reign, Andrewes served successively as Bishop of Chichester, of Ely, and of Winchester and oversaw the translation of the King James Version of the Bible (or Authorized Version). In the Church of England he is commemorated on 25 September with a lesser festival.

Fluent in 15 languages.

A man of deep holiness, he began each day with five hours of prayer.

John Bois:

A prodigy who read Hebrew at age five and Greek at six.

He took part in every major revision.

Miles Smith:

Miles Smith (1554, Hereford – 1624, Gloucester) was a clergyman of the Church of England renowned as a most accomplished theologian, scholar and bibliophile. After attaining the degree of DD, or doctor of divinity, he progressed to become Bishop of Gloucester (1612-1624). Although he may have been at times an indifferent administrator, his erudition contributed fundamentally to the translation and production of the King James Bible.

Wrote the preface to the 1611 edition and defended the purity of the translation.

Richard Bancroft (1544 – 2 November 1610) was an English churchman, Archbishop of Canterbury from 1604 to 1610 and “chief overseer” of the King James Bible.

Richard Bancroft:

The Archbishop of Canterbury who oversaw the entire project and enforced doctrinal integrity.

The Translation Code of Conduct

The translators bound themselves to rules of humility and doctrinal fidelity.

They consulted previous versions—especially the

  • Tyndale
  • Geneva
  • Bishops’

Bibles—and compared them carefully to the Hebrew and Greek.

They bathed the process in prayer.

One of their guiding principles was:

“Translation is not innovation—it is transmission.”

They were not inventing; they were preserving.

Supernatural Protection

Though not all names of the translators are widely known, their work endures forever.

God preserved them from error.

There were no theological compromises.

No textual corruption.

No hidden agenda.

Just reverence for the Word.

The KJV translators said of themselves:

“We have not sought to make a new translation, nor yet to make of a bad one a good one… but to make a good one better, or out of many good ones, one principal good one.”

This was the divine assignment: to produce a purified text for all English-speaking believers.

A Bible that would last until the end.

“Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.” – Psalm 12:7 (KJV)

They were not celebrities.

They were not corrupt scribes.

They were hidden vessels—God’s secret army, summoned for such a time as this.

CHAPTER 8: WESTCOTT & HORT – FATHERS OF CORRUPTION

As the 19th century unfolded, a new threat to the purity of the Scriptures emerged—not by fire or persecution, but by subtle scholarship and secret heresy.

Brooke Foss Westcott (12 January 1825 – 27 July 1901) was an English bishop, biblical scholar and theologian, serving as Bishop of Durham from 1890 until his death. He is perhaps most known for co-editing The New Testament in the Original Greek in 1881. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the British Empire.

Enter Brooke Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort—two Cambridge scholars whose names would be forever tied to the dismantling of the authority of the King James Bible.

Fenton John Anthony Hort FSA (23 April 1828 – 30 November 1892), known as F. J. A. Hort, was an Irish-born theologian and editor, with Brooke Foss Westcott of a critical edition of The New Testament in the Original Greek.

Their project?

The Revised Version of 1881, a translation based not on the Received Text (Textus Receptus), but on corrupted manuscripts originating from Alexandria—namely Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus.

Their philosophy, theology, and textual method would form the backbone of nearly every modern Bible version to come.

Who Were Westcott and Hort?

Westcott and Hort were not just academics—they were deeply spiritual men, but not in the biblical sense.

Their writings reveal dangerous beliefs:

Hort denied the existence of a literal hell, calling it a “crude perversion.”

Westcott expressed disbelief in the infallibility of Scripture.

Both men rejected the Textus Receptus and held contempt for the King James Bible.

Both were involved in occult societies—Westcott in the Ghostly Guild and Hort in discussions of spiritualism and Marian doctrine.

These men were not reformers.

They were re-shapers of the Word—men who believed they were improving the Bible but in fact infected it with:

  • doubt
  • unbelief
  • academic elitism

What Did They Change?

Their Greek New Testament—now called the Westcott-Hort Text—became the foundation for:

  • The Revised Version (1881)
  • The American Standard Version (1901)
  • The Revised Standard Version (1952)
  • The New International Version (NIV)
  • The English Standard Version (ESV)
  • The New American Standard Bible (NASB)
  • The New Living Translation (NLT)

And many others.

These translations differ from the King James Bible in thousands of places.

Entire verses are removed.

Doctrinal phrases are deleted or softened.

The blood of Christ, the deity of Christ, and the virgin birth are subtly attacked.

Examples:

Matthew 18:11 – KJV:

“For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.”

REMOVED in most modern versions.

Colossians 1:14 – KJV:

“In whom we have redemption through his blood…”

Modern:

“In whom we have redemption…” (the blood is omitted).

1 Timothy 3:16 – KJV:

“God was manifest in the flesh…”

Modern:

“He was manifest in the flesh…” (God is erased).

These changes are not minor—they are surgical removals of doctrinal truth.

And they are rooted in the poisoned tree of Westcott and Hort.

Spiritual Fruit or Rotten Roots?

Jesus said,

“Ye shall know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:16)

The fruit of the King James Bible has been:

  • revival
  • reformation
  • literacy

and doctrinal purity.

The fruit of the Westcott-Hort Bibles has been:

  • confusion
  • fragmentation
  • apostasy

By undermining the authority of the Bible, Westcott and Hort opened the floodgates for every kind of compromise in the modern church.

Their influence can be seen in seminaries, pulpits, and pews that now question the very words of God.

Final Warning

The devil doesn’t always attack with a sword.

Sometimes he comes with a pen.

Sometimes in a scholar’s robe.

Sometimes in the footnotes of a “new translation.”

“For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God:

but as of sincerity… in the sight of God speak we in Christ.”
 – 2 Corinthians 2:17 (KJV)

Westcott and Hort may be long dead—but their legacy lives on in corrupted Bibles.

And the war for the Word continues.

CHAPTER 9: THE NEW AGE BIBLES – PERVERTING THE WORD

As the 20th century progressed into the 21st, the floodgates of Bible revision burst open.

With the foundation laid by Westcott and Hort, a new generation of “translations” emerged—each one further eroding the authority, clarity, and divine power of the Word of God.

These are not simply modern language updates; they are spiritual counterfeits.

Modern Bibles, such as the:

  • NIV
  • ESV
  • NLT
  • NASB
  • CSB

and others, have been heralded as easier to read and “more accurate.”

But behind the veil of marketing lies a dangerous truth: these versions rely on corrupted manuscripts, ecumenical editing committees, and politically correct language.

The Core Problem

The majority of modern Bible versions use the Nestle-Aland / United Bible Societies Greek Text, which is built upon the flawed Westcott-Hort critical text.

This text is largely influenced by Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus—manuscripts long rejected by the early church and filled with:

  • contradictions
  • omissions
  • marginal errors

These versions:

  • Omit or bracket thousands of words
  • Remove entire verses
  • Alter doctrinal phrases concerning the blood, deity, and lordship of Jesus Christ

Examples of Corruption

Mark 16:9–20 – Removed or footnoted in modern Bibles, casting doubt on the resurrection appearances.

Acts 8:37 – Deleted.

This verse affirms believer’s baptism and confession of Christ.

Luke 4:4 – KJV:

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”

Modern:

“Man shall not live by bread alone.” (The source of life—God’s Word—is removed!)

These are not editorial choices.

They are satanic subtractions.

Enter the Queen James Bible

In 2012, a blasphemous edition was released:

the Queen James Bible—a “gay-friendly” version that intentionally edited any Scripture that condemns homosexuality.

Verses like Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1:26–27 were altered to reflect modern LGBTQ ideology.

This is not translation.

This is spiritual vandalism.

It is a fulfillment of:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine… and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” – 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (KJV)

The New King James Version (NKJV)

Even the New King James Version, while appearing faithful, subtly departs from the original.

It removes “thee,” “thou,” and reverent structure—thereby diminishing the majesty and specificity of divine address.

Worse, the NKJV footnotes often point to the Alexandrian manuscripts, casting doubt on the very verses retained in the text.

This is a gateway Bible—leading unsuspecting readers away from the true text into the maze of modern versions.

Who Is Behind It?

Modern versions are often published by secular or ecumenical organizations:

The NIV was translated with Roman Catholic influence.

The ESV committee includes liberal scholars and gender-neutral advocates.

Copyrights are held by corporations like Zondervan (owned by HarperCollins), who also publish pornographic and occult literature.

Would God entrust His Word to the same hands that promote:

  • witchcraft
  • lust
  • blasphemy

The Result: Doctrinal Chaos

Since the rise of modern translations:

  • Apostasy has increased
  • Churches have weakened
  • The fear of God has diminished
  • Biblical illiteracy has skyrocketed

Modern Bibles have not produced revival.

They have produced rebellion.

Final Warning

“Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” – Proverbs 30:6 (KJV)

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues…” – Revelation 22:18 (KJV)

The war for the Word is at its height.

The King James Bible stands as the last bastion of uncorrupted truth.

All other versions bow to men.

The KJV bows to Christ.

Choose ye this day whom ye will read.

CHAPTER 10: THE APOCRYPHA & THE FORGOTTEN BOOKS

When the King James Bible was first published in 1611, it contained not 66 books—but 80.

Nestled between the Old and New Testaments were 14 books known as the Apocrypha.

These books are often misunderstood, maligned, or misused.

But to understand the full history of the King James Bible, they cannot be ignored.

The Apocrypha comes from the Greek word apokryphos, meaning “hidden” or “obscure.”

These books were included in the Septuagint (Greek Old Testament) and appeared in early Christian Bibles.

Yet they were never accepted into the Jewish Hebrew canon, and their status has been debated for centuries.

The 14 Apocryphal Books Include:

  1. 1 Esdras
  2. 2 Esdras
  3. Tobit
  4. Judith
  5. Additions to Esther
  6. Wisdom of Solomon
  7. Ecclesiasticus (Sirach)
  8. Baruch
  9. The Letter of Jeremiah
  10. The Prayer of Azariah
  11. Susanna
  12. Bel and the Dragon
  13. The Prayer of Manasses
  14. 1 Maccabees & 2 Maccabees

(Note: Some lists combine or divide these differently, depending on the tradition.)

Why Were They Included?

King James ordered that the translators include the Apocrypha in a separate section—not interspersed among the Old Testament books.

It was never considered equal to the:

  • Law
  • Prophets
  • Writings

of the Hebrew canon.

Rather, it was preserved for:

  • Historical value
  • Literary merit
  • Moral instruction

The translators were clear:

these books were not to be used to establish doctrine, as they often contained theological errors,

such as:

  • Prayers for the dead (2 Maccabees 12:45–46)
  • Magical superstitions (Tobit 6)
  • Works-based righteousness (Ecclesiasticus 3:30)

Why Were They Later Removed?

The Apocrypha remained in Protestant Bibles for centuries.

But during the mid-1800s, due to theological purification and anti-Catholic reaction, most English Bible publishers removed them altogether.

The 1615 edition of the KJV still included them, but by the late 1800s, they had largely disappeared.

The Catholic Church, however, kept several of these books—calling them Deuterocanonical—and included them in the Douay-Rheims Bible.

Did Jesus Quote the Apocrypha?

There is no direct citation by Christ or the apostles of the Apocryphal books, though some themes overlap.

The lack of citation is often used as evidence against their inspiration.

What Are They About?

1 & 2 Esdras – Retellings of Jewish history post-exile.

Tobit – A story of piety, angels, and family loyalty.

Judith – A heroine beheads an invading general.

Wisdom of Solomon – Philosophical reflections on justice and the soul.

Sirach – Proverbs-like sayings and practical wisdom.

Baruch – Lamentations and a call to repentance.

1 & 2 Maccabees – The revolt of the Jews under Antiochus Epiphanes.

Many of these books inspired early Christian writers and were read in churches, but the early church fathers drew a clear line:

they were to be read for edification, not doctrine.

Modern Controversy and Conspiracies

Some claim that the Apocrypha was “removed” as part of a conspiracy to hide knowledge.

Others claim the books are inspired scripture, equal to the canon.

But both extremes err.

The Apocrypha was never canonized by the translators of the KJV, but neither was it discarded as useless.

It’s also important to note that certain Gnostic books (like the Gospel of Thomas) are falsely called “apocryphal” in modern times—this is a deception.

GNOSTICISM: ANCIENT & MODERN – Library of Rickandria

Those books were never in the KJV Apocrypha and were rightly rejected as heresy.

The Final Word

The Apocrypha serves as a bridge between the Old and New Testaments—a historical lens into the intertestamental period.

But it is not inspired Scripture.

It is not to be preached as doctrine.

And it was never counted as part of the divine 66.

CHAPTER 11: ENEMIES OF THE WORD – STRONG, SCHAFF & SCOFIELD

While the King James Bible stood unchallenged for over 250 years, the 19th and early 20th centuries saw the rise of subtle enemies within the camp—men who, through scholarship and theology, introduced doctrinal distortions that led many away from the simplicity of God’s Word.

Among them were:

  • James Strong
  • Philip Schaff
  • Cyrus I. Scofield

1. James Strong – The Lexicon Gatekeeper

James Strong (1822–1894) is best known for his monumental work:

Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible.

His numbering system has become the standard reference for Hebrew and Greek definitions.

But what few realize is that Strong’s definitions are often biased toward modernist theology and favor the corrupt Westcott-Hort text.

His lexicon often casts doubt on key KJV words by redefining them in ways more favorable to Alexandrian manuscripts and liberal interpretations.

For example:

The Greek word for “hell” (GehennaHadesTartarus) is sometimes reinterpreted in a way that softens the doctrine of eternal punishment.

The Eternal Ledger of Souls: Heaven’s Few, Hell’s Many – Library of Rickandria

Words connected to “repentance” or “faith” are nuanced to support works-based interpretations.

Strong worked closely with scholars who supported the Revised Version and was part of the movement that de-emphasized the Textus Receptus.

2. Philip Schaff – Ecumenism’s Scribe

Philip Schaff (January 1, 1819 – October 20, 1893) was a Swiss-born, German-educated Protestant theologian and ecclesiastical historian, who spent most of his adult life living and teaching in the United States.

Philip Schaff (1819–1893) was a Swiss-born theologian who played a leading role in American biblical revision.

He served as a leader of the American Revision Committee that partnered with the British team behind the 1881 Revised Version.

Schaff was an open ecumenist, promoting unity between Protestantism and Roman Catholicism.

He believed doctrine should be softened for the sake of unity, and he openly supported higher criticism—the idea that Scripture should be subjected to human reason and literary dissection.

His push for ecumenical unity undermined the doctrinal purity preserved in the King James Bible.

He promoted interfaith dialogue, watered-down translations, and helped pave the road for the New World Religion.

New Age Chains: How the Serpent Rebranded Rebellion as Enlightenment – Library of Rickandria

His writings glorified church tradition over Scripture and lent support to the concept that the Bible was not fully inspired, but only containing God’s Word.

3. Cyrus I. Scofield – The Prophet of Dispensationalism

Cyrus Ingerson Scofield
(August 19, 1843 – July 24, 1921) was an American theologian, minister, and writer whose best-selling annotated Bible popularized futurism and dispensationalism among fundamentalist Christians.

Cyrus Scofield (1843–1921) was an American theologian and former lawyer whose Scofield Reference Bible introduced millions to dispensationalist theology.

This system divides Scripture into “dispensations” or time periods where God deals differently with mankind.

Scofield’s teachings elevated:

  • A pre-tribulation rapture
  • A strict division between Israel and the Church
  • A Zionist eschatology that places modern Israel at the center of God’s future plan

While Scofield used the King James Bible, his footnotes often overrule the text with speculative theology.

In many pulpits, his notes are treated as more authoritative than Scripture itself.

His ties to Zionist organizations and financiers—such as Samuel Untermeyer and World Zionist Congress sympathizers—raise serious concerns.

He helped embed the political agenda of Christian Zionism into American evangelicalism, shifting the church’s focus away from Christ and toward earthly Israel.

The Result: Corruption from Within

  • Strong redefined the words
  • Schaff rewrote the structure
  • Scofield redirected the doctrine

Together, they did not burn the Bible—they reframed it.

“Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.” – Acts 20:30 (KJV)

The King James Bible remained intact, but its interpretation, study tools, and preaching were compromised.

The Word was still on the pulpit—but not always in power.

Final Thoughts

Satan knows he cannot destroy the Bible.

So instead, he infiltrates the commentary, pollutes the lexicons, and deceives the teachers.

Let every believer be warned:

“Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.” – Hebrews 13:9 (KJV)

Return to the pure text.

Trust no footnote over the Word of God.

CHAPTER 12: KING JAMES ONLY – THE REMNANT WHO REFUSE TO BOW

In every generation, God preserves a remnant—a people who refuse compromise, who stand when others bow, who remain loyal when others drift.

In the 21st century, amidst a sea of Bible versions and doctrinal confusion, one such remnant is known as the King James Only believers.

They are mocked.

Labeled as

“legalists”

“uneducated”

or

“divisive.”

But in truth, they are defenders of the pure Word of God.

They believe the King James Bible is not merely a translation—it is God’s preserved Word in English, purified seven times (Psalm 12:6–7).

Who Are the King James Only?

They are not a denomination.

They do not follow a man.

They are:

  • Independent Baptists
  • Home-church believers
  • Street preachers
  • Truth seekers
  • Ex-Catholics
  • ex-Masons
  • ex-Muslims
  • ex-atheists

Some are scholars.

Many are not.

But they know one thing:

God’s Word must not be altered.

Why They Stand Firm

They believe in God’s promise to preserve His Word (Psalm 12:7Matthew 24:35).

They reject the corruption of modern translations, proven to be based on faulty manuscripts.

They recognize the power and fruit of the KJV—revivals, reformations, awakenings, and moral foundations.

They test all things by Scripture, not by scholars, denominations, or publishers.

Accusations and Clarifications

Many falsely accuse King James Only believers of worshipping a translation.

This is slander.

They do not worship the Bible—they worship the Author.

But they refuse to accept the lie that God’s Word can be constantly rewritten without consequence.

Just as Jesus used the Scriptures available in His day with divine authority (Luke 4:16–21), so too do KJV believers hold fast to the Bible God preserved for the English-speaking world.

Notable KJV Defenders

Peter Sturges Ruckman (November 19, 1921 – April 21, 2016) was an American Independent Baptist pastor, author, Bible teacher, and founder of the Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida (not to be confused with the Pensacola Christian College).

Ruckman was known for his position that the King James Version of the Bible constituted “advanced revelation” or “new revelation”, and was the final preserved word of God in the English language.

A fierce defender, often controversial, but deeply studied.

David Cloud – A historian and expositor of textual purity.

Jack Frasure Hyles (September 25, 1926 – February 6, 2001) was a leading figure in the Independent Baptist movement, having pastored the First Baptist Church of Hammond in Hammond, Indiana, from August 1959 until his death.

Lester Roloff

others – Preachers of fire and conviction who built ministries on the unchanging Book.

These men were not perfect—but they refused to bend.

Why It Matters

If the Bible can be changed, then doctrine can be changed.

If doctrine can be changed, then truth becomes subjective.

If truth becomes subjective, then man becomes god.

This is the agenda of Satan:

The King James Bible is the last line of defense.

It has been attacked by:

  • Jesuits
  • Freemasons
  • Liberal theologians
  • Publishers
  • Universities
  • Pastors

And even artificial intelligence.

Yet it still stands.

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” – Isaiah 40:8 (KJV)

Final Call

God has always preserved a remnant who will not bow to Baal.

The King James Bible is not outdated—it is untouchable.

Join the remnant.

Stand firm.

Never surrender the Sword.

CONCLUSION: THE BIBLE OF THE LAST DAYS

The King James Bible is more than a book.

It is a sword.

It is a line in the sand.

It is the final stronghold of truth in a world overrun by lies.

And as we enter the final moments of this present age, the importance of standing on this Word has never been greater.

This Bible was born in a time of war—spiritual and political.

It survived:

  • plots
  • persecutions
  • papal wrath

It outlived:

  • kings
  • empires
  • empires that tried to replace it

THE BLOODLINES OF KINGS: FROM ANCIENT THRONES TO MODERN DOMINION – Library of Rickandria

And yet, four centuries later, it still speaks with unmatched authority.

It is the only Bible:

Born out of national repentance and royal decree.

Translated by spirit-filled scholars, not commercial editors.

Preserved through:

  • revival
  • reformation
  • bloodshed

Revered by:

  • saints
  • preachers
  • reformers
  • martyrs

While modern Bibles grow more politically correct, more gender-neutral, more mystical and vague—the King James remains what it has always been:

  • clear
  • holy
  • uncompromising

“Thy word is true from the beginning:

and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.”
 – Psalm 119:160 (KJV)

This is the Bible that:

  • Fed the faith of missionaries who evangelized the world
  • Launched revivals in America and abroad
  • Inspired the abolition of slavery

Was quoted by:

  • presidents
  • soldiers
  • farmers

and orphans alike.

It is the Bible of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, untainted by modern heresy, unedited by modern hands.

JESUS CHRIST REVEALED — THE TRUTH THEY HID – Library of Rickandria

But today, it is not simply ignored—it is attacked.

The King James Bible is banned in schools.

It is banned in some pulpits.

It is banned in the minds of scholars who worship Greek manuscripts more than the Holy Ghost.

Yet it still stands.

In the last days, deception shall increase.

Truth will be traded for tolerance.

Holiness will be replaced by heresy.

But this Word—the King James Bible—remains the anchor.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” – Matthew 24:35 (KJV)

Let the nations rage.

Let the seminaries scoff.

Let the devils tremble.

GODS OF THE WORLD: A Hidden History of Pantheons, Powers & the War in Heaven – Library of Rickandria

The Word is still here.

The remnant still reads.

And the Gospel still saves.

Hold the line.

Preach the Book.

Fear no man.

Trust no other version.

This is the Divine Code.

“And take… the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” – Ephesians 6:17 (KJV)

AMEN.

EPILOGUE: THE UNBROKEN WORD

In a world of shifting sands—where truth is relative, morals are fluid, and faith is commercialized—

there remains one immovable object:

the Word of God in the King James Bible.

It has survived:

  • fire
  • flood
  • fury

It has been burned by tyrants, banned by councils, and butchered by scholars.

Yet it endures.

Not by human preservation—but by divine ordination.

This is not just a history book.

It is a weapon in spiritual warfare.

It is a lifeline to the broken, a compass to the lost, a hammer to the rebellious, and a balm to the humble.

It was breathed by the Holy Ghost.

Translated by men who feared God.

And preserved by the blood of martyrs.

The King James Bible is not old-fashioned—it is eternal.

It is not outdated—it is out-of-reach to corruption.

It is not complex—it is clear to the pure in heart.

You hold in your hand what generations died to deliver.

You read with your eyes what devils tried to erase.

You walk in the light that kings and prophets longed to see.

THE BLOODLINES OF KINGS: FROM ANCIENT THRONES TO MODERN DOMINION – Library of Rickandria

The Divine Code is not hidden—it is in plain sight.

But only the humble will understand it.

Only the reverent will receive it.

Only the obedient will be transformed by it.

“To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” – Isaiah 66:2 (KJV)

Let the seminaries scoff.

Let the publishers sell.

Let the preachers compromise.

The Word still speaks.

And it will judge.

“The word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” – John 12:48 (KJV)

The question is not whether the Bible is true.

The question is whether you will bow before it.

This book you’ve just read is not the end—it is a call to arms.

Rise up, believer.

Preach the Word.

Study the Word.

Live the Word.

Let your children memorize it.

Let your enemies hear it.

Let your heart be pierced by it.

“Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” – Jeremiah 23:29 (KJV)

This is the Divine Code.

Let no man add to it.

Let no devil silence it.

Let no generation forget it.

Amen.
