His face shines, causing fear among the people, so he covers it with a veil.

Discernment:
Though dramatized with comedy, this moment is largely portrayed respectfully.
Fresh Start & New Laws
Moses brings the renewed covenant and laws.
The people are cautiously optimistic.
Reflection:
A humorous “olive skewer” vendor marks the return to normalcy.
“The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul…” (Psalm 19:7)

Moses gives instruction to build the Tabernacle.
God appoints Bezalel and Oholiab by name.
