VCG SONG: BEDAMN YOUR CREDITS

BY VCG 8/1/2026

Song Information

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Apparently, the AI at Revid thinks my voice is female for this song, so they have the main performer as a female singing. It started off with a male visually, ironically enough. Perfect example of 960 credits wasted. Was it done so that I just go spend another 960 credits & next time around specifying a performer? No, I’m over this song, I’ll save the credits for a different song. This one can serve as an example.

So, funny story… I was rendering another song instead of remaking the above… but as it so happens, I left the same damn MP3 of Bedamn Your Credits in it. I set it to 4 different singers, because that’s what the other song would have had. So, it decided to create a Boy Band for this video. That’s what happens when you keep trying to work on projects after being up for 48 hours. So, here is the video remix that I said I wasn’t going to do! Also, I’ve noticed AI is still struggling with words & spelling, which is a universal problem with rendering AI videos. Maybe I jumped on this too soon, but if you don’t get in front of it, you’re going to find yourself repriced.

Title: Bedamn Your Credits

Artist Credit: MUSAIC COLLECTIVE feat. VCG

Theme: Satirizing AI credit systems that turn creativity into an expensive meter, drain independent creators, and reward platforms more than the people making the work.

Genre Fusion: Country, trap, disco, EDM, electro-swing

Style

High-energy country-trap fused with glossy disco, festival EDM, and playful electro-swing. Twangy electric guitar, banjo, fiddle, saloon piano, deep 808 bass, crisp trap hats, four-on-the-floor disco drums, funky bass guitar, bright strings, brass stabs, upright bass, risers, vocal chops, and a heavy final drop. Charismatic male lead with clear diction, comic spoken interruptions, melodic gang-vocal chorus, fast rhythmic rap, call-and-response chants, and a gospel-style lift. Compact intro, two verses, recurring hook, brass breakdown, half-time bridge, EDM build, decisive final chorus, abrupt comic ending. Wholly original melody and arrangement, no artist references, polished production.

LYRICS

[Intro — saloon piano, coin-drop sound, banjo lick, filtered club kick]

[Spoken Voice]

Welcome, creator.

Your imagination is unlimited.

Your credits are not.

[Cash Register]

[Verse 1]

Signed up free with a hopeful grin,
Ten bright credits—let the dream begin.
Typed one prompt, got six wrong hands,
Clicked “try again”—there went half my plans.

Render failed, but the meter still ran.
“Technical issue”—thank you, ma’am.
Upscale once, remove one chair,
Now my monthly budget needs emergency care.

They say, “Create without limits,”
In letters twelve feet tall.
Then hide the tiny sentence:

[Whispered Voice]

“Limits may apply to all.”

[Pre-Chorus]

One for the image,
Two for the sound,
Five when the server
Falls flat on the ground.

Ten for the motion,
Twenty for speed—
They planted a tollbooth
In front of every need.

[Chorus — disco strings, country guitar, huge gang vocals]

Be-damn your credits!
Every click costs more.
I came to make a masterpiece,
Not finance your fourth floor.

Be-damn your credits!
Meter running while I think.
The company is swimming
While the creator’s at the brink.

Charge me fair, tell me plain,
Do not tax imagination’s flame.
My art is not your slot machine—
Be-damn your credits and your pricing scheme!

[Post-Chorus — call and response]

[Lead]

Did it render?

[Crowd]

No!

[Lead]

Did they charge me?

[Crowd]

Oh!

[Lead]

Can I try once more?

[Crowd]

Upgrade to Pro!

[Verse 2 — trap drums and fiddle]

Got the Starter, Creator, Creator Plus,
Creator Plus Max with the Priority Bus.
Then Super Premium Diamond Elite—
Still waiting forty minutes for a six-second beat.

Bought more credits in a midnight panic,
Now the hobby budget looks Titanic.
Every inspiration comes with a fee;
My muse needs a login and a valid ID.

Used to need paper, a pen, and time.
Now I need tokens to finish one line.
They call it access, call it scale,
But why does every experiment arrive by mail—

[Notification Voice]

Your credit balance is critically low.

[Lead]

I know!

[Chorus]

Be-damn your credits!
Every click costs more.
I came to make a masterpiece,
Not finance your fourth floor.

Be-damn your credits!
Meter running while I think.
The company is swimming
While the creator’s at the brink.

Charge me fair, tell me plain,
Do not tax imagination’s flame.
My art is not your slot machine—
Be-damn your credits and your pricing scheme!

[Electro-Swing Breakdown — brass, upright bass, banjo chops]

[Spoken Voice]

Step right up!

One credit to enter!
Three credits to breathe!
Seven credits to discover
The feature does not meet your needs!

[Fast Rap]

Credit for the draft, credit for the fix,
Credit for the lighting and the lip-sync mix.
Credit for the error that the software made,
Then another little fee for the help-page aid.

Monthly subscription, still pay per creation,
That is not a tool—that is meter domination.
Creators bring the culture, creators bring the spark,
Platforms bring a counter saying, “Pay to leave the dark.”

I am not against profit.
Build well, get paid.
But do not bleed the maker
For every choice they made.

Give transparent pricing,
Let unused credits stay.
Do not turn artistic learning
Into financial decay.

[Bridge — half-time country gospel lift]

Fair tools help the small voice grow.
Fair terms let the new work show.
Let the artist own the thing they make.
Do not charge again for every tiny mistake.

Innovation should not mean
Only wealthy hands create.
A dream should not become
A monthly invoice at the gate.

[Build — rising synth, fiddle tremolo, crowd claps]

[Choir]

Fair price!
Clear terms!
Let the creator learn!

Fair use!
Real choice!
Stop billing every voice!

[Final Drop — EDM bass, disco strings, trap drums, brass]

[Final Chorus]

Be-damn your credits!
Every click costs more.
We came to build a future,
Not become your company store.

Be-damn your credits!
Stop draining every dream.
When the makers fund the system,
Do not squeeze them through the screen.

Charge us fair, tell us plain,
Let creative people try again.
Build your business—keep it clean.
Do not make the artist feed the machine!

[Final Chant]

No charge for failure!
No vanishing stack!
No mystery pricing!
Give unused credits back!

Fair tools!
Fair pay!
Let creators have a say!

[All]

Be-damn your credits—
Get that meter out the way!

[Outro — banjo, disco bass, coin rolls to a stop]

[Spoken Voice]

Your generation failed.

Your complaint used two credits.
