I was formed from the dust, God breathed life in my chest,
Walked in Eden with the LORD, fully clothed and blessed.
Named the beasts, tilled the ground, had dominion supreme,
Then He made you from my rib while I lay in a dream.
You were bone of my bone — flesh of my flesh,
But when the serpent whispered lies, you failed the test.
I should’ve stood tall, but I fell with you too,
Still God covered our shame, and His mercy broke through.
Don’t twist the truth — you were beguiled by the snake,
But I was silent, which was my mistake.
Still from my line came the promised Seed,
The Last Adam crushed the serpent — that’s the gospel creed!

Yes, I was deceived — but don’t forget this part:
God still made me your helper, a woman of heart.
I bore the first life, felt the first birth pain,
But from my womb came Abel, then the righteous slain.
You blame me quick, but you ate on your own,
And tried to hide from the Lord on a tree overgrown.
But still in sorrow and travail I stand,
Chosen to carry life across this fallen land.
From me came the mothers of faith and of light,
Sarah, Rebekah, Ruth shining bright.
Though the curse bruised my heel, my seed bruised his head,
The serpent’s doom was written in the blood we shed.

True, we both fell short, but don’t glorify sin,
God’s Word is our mirror — not a battle to win.
It’s not man vs woman — we’re one in His plan,
Made to serve God, not to war as man against man.
It was never about blame — it’s about repentance,
Turning from fig leaves to the Lamb’s redemption sentence.
We both were cast out, but hope wasn’t dead,
For the seed of the woman would crush the serpent’s head.

Amen, Adam. I see now in full light,
This battle isn’t ours — the war is God’s fight.
We were naked, ashamed — but He made us coats of skin,
A prophecy of Christ who would cover our sin.
Let the daughters of Zion rise holy and bold,
And let the sons of God walk faithful and gold.
Marriage is sacred — we are one flesh,
And by God’s Spirit, we escape death’s mesh.
